System Testing
There is a major difference between coils that have been bench tested and those that are system tested. While signals may look good and components function as expected while testing on the workbench, there are several issues that cannot be seen with this method. The only way to guarantee your MRI coil is working as the OEM intended is with a system test, using a thorough SNR Report (Signal-to-Noise Ratio). Without a system test, the repair facility is only able to repair what is found on the bench-top, while the end-user continues to have the same problem, along with additional shipping expenses and downtime.
