Incorrect Components

Some repair facilities do not store or cannot get the original components used during manufacturing by the OEM. Thus, they will attempt to find a similar or matching part that was designed and built by a different vendor. This can create multiple issues with the coil and its operation. While certain specifications may be close to the original component, the tolerances and limitations for the new component may cause more signal and tuning issues not observed at the bench level testing. For instance, some repair facilities will stack capacitors in an attempt to reach a specific value or use similar values with different case sizes. While the capacitance value is achieved, it is not to the OEM standard during the FDA approval process, which is a significant issue with FDA approved parts.

Choosing the right components is crucial for ensuring long-term performance
and reliable diagnostic results. That’s why we ensure that only OEM-certified components are used in repairs, so your MRI coil functions optimally. Our team meticulously inspects and verifies each part before installation, helping you avoid costly rework, downtime, and compromised image quality.
