- It depends on the damage or issue with the coil, whether the owner would like a full system scan, how many channels are in the coil, or if the coil is a specialty coil or under foam.
- If you are concerned about the total cost of a repair, we offer an evaluation of a coil at a low cost. If after you read the evaluation you choose to let us repair your coil we will put the evaluation charge to the cost of repair to the coil.
- Typically, about 5 to 7 business days. All coils are given a high priority. We have an inspection process, then a decontamination procedure, and then we do a complete subsystem test. If we find a problem, we note it and continue the complete system test. At the end of our service, we either perform a full bench test or a system test on a phantom.
- Some customers know exactly what the problem is on their coil, and we can generally shorten the repair time if we know ahead of time what the issue is with a coil.
- We also have customers who don’t want their coils repaired quickly! Really! They will send us a crate of perhaps 10 coils and we repair them at a lower priority, saving them thousands of dollars off of a priority repair.
- Customers can choose to expedite services for an additional fee. Please call for more information on expedited services.

No problem. Send us an email of the problematic images. We may ask for a specific set of scans with specific orientations to help you determine if the coil is the problem or perhaps something else like a gradient.
In addition to tuning a coil, we can also clean the coil, repaint, and re-foam it. It will look and perform as good as new.
